Medical Insurance

All New Zealand private health insurance policies are accepted.

The surgeon or specialist will be able to provide your patient with an estimate to send to the insurance company, after which the patient contacts their insurance company before surgery to obtain a prior approval. 

Southern Cross Affiliated Provider

For Southern Cross Medical Insurance members, some healthcare services are only covered by their insurance if they are performed by an Affiliated Provider.  Belverdale Private Hospital holds several contracts with Southern Cross under the Affiliated Provider Programme.
