Admission for Surgery

The request for your admission to Belverdale Hospital is arranged by your Surgeon.  Belverdale Hospital will contact you a few days before your surgery to confirm the date and time of your surgery, and any other details.

What To Confirm With Your Surgeon

It is important that you are fully informed about your surgery or procedure.  Please ask your surgeon

• what your surgery or procedure will involve
• if there are any risks
• what your alternate options are
• how much it will cost
• if there is any special preparation you need to complete
• if there are further tests and investigations required
